Prince Andrew Is Being Sued For Sexual Assault

Prince Andrew sexually abused a teenage girl he met through Jeffrey Epstein … according to a new lawsuit filed on Monday afternoon in a federal court in Manhattan by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.Ms Giuffre says she was a victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme for powerful men, including Britain’s Prince Andrew who she claims sexually abused her in London and New York.

According to the suit, Giuffre claims that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her at both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s invitation when she was a minor and that instances of alleged sexual abuse occurred at Maxwell’s home in London and at Epstein’s home in Manhattan and on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands.The lawsuit states, “Prince Andrew committed sexual assault and battery upon Plaintiff when she was 17 years old. As such, Prince Andrew is responsible for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress pursuant to New York common law. The damage to Plaintiff has been severe and lasting,”

In a BBC interview in 2019, Prince Andrew said he had never had sex with Ms Giuffre, saying: “I can absolutely categorically tell you it never happened.” and suggested that a photo of the two of them may have been doctored.

The British royal resigned from all public roles in May 2020 over his ties to Epstein who killed himself in jail in August 2019, a month after being detained on sex trafficking charges.
