MrBeast Tops Forbes’ Highest-Paid YouTube Stars’ List

Jimmy Donaldson – aka MrBeast was YouTube’s highest-earning content creator in 2021 as per Forbes.

According to the publications’ annual listing of the highest-earning creators on YouTube, the 23-year-old now leads the way, after raking in an estimated $54 million from his YouTube content throughout the year.

MrBeast has taken over the first place from 10-year-old YouTube toy unboxing sensation, Ryan Kaji who’s led the publications’ top earner list for the past three years.

The Youtuber is known for massive giveaways, stunts, pranks, and charitable initiatives. Last year, Donaldson’s viral reenactment of Netflix’s Korean drama “Squid Game,” awarded the winner a $446,000 prize.

With 88 million subscribers and 10 billion views, MrBeast’s popular videos and stunts range from the bizarre to the brilliant and include sitting in slime for 24 hours, being buried alive for 50 hours, giving away 10,000 free frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving, and “tipping” a pizza delivery boy a fully furnished, mortgage-free house.

Second on the list is the controversial YouTuber/boxer, Jake Paul with an estimated $45 million last year while video game streamer Markiplier earned $38 million, and the comedy duo Rhett & Link, at $30 million.

Meanwhile, Minecraft player Nathan Graham, known as Unspeakable, made the list for the first time in fifth place.
