While talking to Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up hosts Nicole Ryan, Ryan Sampson, and Stanley T about her new highly anticipated sophomore album Happier Than Ever, Billie Eilish opened up about her relationship with fellow singer Justin Bieber saying he has been helping her deal with fame as she continues to navigate the music industry.

“He’ll call me sometimes and just say stuff that makes me just feel heard and like there’s somebody else that goes through the same stuff,” Eilish shared on Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up

When asked if she can “get in the studio with Justin” and “make it happen,” the 19-year-old laughed, saying, “He’s just the sweetest baby ever.”

“I love him,” the singer continued. “He’s a good friend of mine. He has been so helpful for me, in terms of just, like, dealing with fame. He’ll call me sometimes and just say stuff that makes me just feel heard and like there’s somebody else that goes through the same stuff. So it’s really nice to have him.”

Last year while talking with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe, Bieber shared that he feels a responsibility to protect the young artist. “Let her do her thing and if she ever needs me, I’m gonna be here for her,” He said. “But yeah, just protecting the moment because people take for granted encounters.”

Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber first met at Coachella in 2019 and the two posed for a photo together. “Long and bright future ahead for you,” the “Lonely” crooner captioned the photo.

The “Bad guy” singer also shared with The Morning Mash Up that she’s still in disbelief about the level of success she’s attained at such a young age. Her latest album comes two years after she dropped her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in 2019.
